I developed an owner operated consultancy business with a focus on information systems engineering. Clients included major universities and the Australian Air Navigation Services Provider (Airservices). Over eight years on this business grew to six people. The projects side of the business was sold in January 2017 to a $400m private Australian engineering services business. I retained the consultancy business.Recently I created a new startup with a longtime colleague in smart city tech consulting. Working with city of Parramatta and other clients to build the next generation of supersmart cities. We are focussed on design thinking, change management, and the openness of cities to new ways of deploying technology to improve peoples lives.
