I've enjoyed a varied career with some of the best companies in the leisure and entertainment industry that has afforded me the opportunity to work with and learn from so many talented people; and to combine my knowledge of human behavior, design thinking and , product development to focus on creating outstanding play experiences for families and children. Extensive experience in business and strategic product development with to start-ups and industry leaders which has resulted in success penetrating existing markets with ground-breaking and award winning experiential new attractions. I've successfully lead start to finish complex projects requiring inter-disciplinary teamwork and careful execution.Trained as a child psychologist and the author of two books on play and child development (Playful Parenting, Putnam 1993, and PlayWise, Putnam, 1995), Mark Weston knows play. In his long tenure within the aquatic and adventure play industry Weston has worked as a play industry consultant, in business development, project management and product development as Product Manager - Interactive Play at WhiteWater West, as founder and President of Funtraptions, Dir. Business Development at Splashtacular, and as Vice President and managing partner at SCS Interactive, and Consultant to both Disney Development and Hasbro Playskool.
