Mark Wetherington is a young driven professional who brings fun and detailed consideration to everything he does. Mark is a jack of all trades, with professional experience in digital marketing, project management, branding, website design, customer service, social media, interview, management, real estate and hospitality operations. In 2019 Mark took a job with Taft Family Ventures, a real estate development company in Greenville, NC. While at Taft Mark’s role changed from commercial real estate management to asset management, working on a variety of task ranging from daily errands to opening and operating an almost million dollar restaurant.In 2022, just as his final semester at ECU began, Mark started a second job with Made by Catch as a project manager and digital advertising associate. In January 2020, Mark started classes at East Carolina University for a degree in communication with a consternation in journalism. This degree helped develop and review skills in writing, reporting, information gathering, organizing, recording and editing video, and much more. In his first semester at ECU Mark was appointed as a member of the Student Media board, which oversees the student, newspaper, magazines, radio and design organizations. After his first semester on the board Mark was elected the Chair of the Board, and was awarded for his service. When Mark isn’t working or in school you can find trying adventurous foods with his wife Raven Breinholt, and dog Alfred (lovingly named for the dark knights butler), or he may be playing video games, board games, reading, and a number of other very nerdy activities.
