Mr. Wheeler became Partner and Chief Development Officer for Boston Chicken Golden Gate (BCGG). He and his Operating Partner executed a development agreement for Northern California with the parent company, Boston Market Inc. Over a four-year period, their team developed and opened fifty two (52) Boston Market stores. In 1998 BCCG sold its interest to Boston Market Inc.

Director of International and Domestic Development for Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation (BEC). Made many contributions to the explosive growth of Blockbuster Entertainment, which included Blockbuster Video, Blockbuster Music, Discovery Zone and Virgin Music. Spent several years working internationally in over 20 countries, with experience in Mexico, Canada, Italy, Brazil, Australia, Japan, China and others. In Germany and France, responsible for creating the new store development model and structuring the strategic relationship with the in-country partner. Responsible for over 100 locations in Latin America including Mexico, Venezuela and Chili and over 450 domestic store openings.
