+ Manage a team of direct reports that include 4 Material Handling Operators and 1 Ash Unloader Operator.+ Manage the day to day operations of the Material Handling area, which includes maintaining proper coal, limestone, alternative fuels, and conditioned ash inventories.+ Manage the business commercial matters for the AES Kalaeloa Continuous Ship Unloader Facility. + Oversee the logistics of coal shipping from international ports, via the scheduling of laycans, managing coal supplier contracts, managing coal shipping contracts, managing demurrage, and scheduling of Stevedoring/Customs for the Kalaeloa discharge port.+ Collateral duties include acting as the Performance Engineer to develop and implement measures that improve heat rate/performance, and providing engineering assistance to the Maintenance Planner.

+ Manage a team of direct reports that include 4 Turbine operators and 2 Balance of Plant operators. + Responsible for the budget, asset life cycle plans, operations, and maintenance of the Turbine and Balance of Plant. + Act as the lead plant chemist, and manage the turbine/BOP operators to maintain the plant water chemistry within the desired parameters.+ Perform project management for equipment overhauls & OPEX/CAPEX projects.+ Oversee and maintain the PSM/RMP program.+ Assist in managing the relationships with Hawaiian Electric Co.(Power off-taker) and Chevron (Steam off-taker).
