Specifying and conducting safety critical inspections. Scheduling and planning of predictive maintenance and servicing. Advisor to senior management of Hydraulic and mechanical technical tasks and solutions. Systems specialist for fault analysis and post work inspection. Post incident analysis and engineering technical advice to high level management. Writing of technical reports and analysis of effectiveness of modifications and engineering changes. Compilation and amendment to technical procedures and processes.

Aircraft Technician responsible for complex fault diagnosis and replacing gas turbines, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Supervising the repair and pressure testing of hydraulic components. Inspections of work of juniors including providing technical guidance and engineering expertise within the mechanical and hydraulic specialisms. Junior management functions including task planning and asset co-ordination. Checking and certification of engineering documents. On-the-job training of juniors and advice on specific technical issues to seniors. Deputy shift leader for a busy RAF flying unit.

Aircraft Mechanic responsible for servicing aircraft and replacing mechanical and hydraulic components. Serviced support engineering and military aircraft components used in all operational environments. Maintenance and rectification to schedule of aircraft control, mechanical and hydraulic systems including functional testing of all hydraulic and pneumatic components to strict engineering standards. The diagnosis, proving and rectification of faults on the above systems.
