About Mark Wilkinson
Hello. I'm a freelance coach and organisational development consultant with the pleasure of empowering people and teams to better achieve their potential. Through my business Headspace Coaching (see website), I offer a range of services including coaching, training, workshop facilitation, copy writing, and employee engagement consultancy including culture surveys carried out with Silke Brittain of Clear Voice Comms/Org. I also offer tailored coaching and personal development retreats from my spacious and comfortable home in vibrant Falmouth, Cornwall. My key strengths are in combining strong intuition and empathy with listening and analysis to help people and teams truly understand and articulate a life or business challenge and in using creativity and experience beyond HR to help them find solutions. I'm proud for the value I've created through my volunteering, that includes organising a employee engagement conference and flash mob coaching event, for persevering with a personally and financially costly career change because I know it's what I'm meant to do, and for finding my own way to overcome quite debilitating depression (making one's wellbeing number one priority being key).I would be delighted to hear from you if you think I could be of service to you or your organisation in any way, and I am currently seeking paid roles or freelance contracts. Have a great day. Best wishesMarkmark@headspacecoaching.co.uk

Self-Employed Freelancer And Business Owner
Self-Employed Freelancer / Business Owner
As outlined above I am Director of Headspace Coaching and am associate of ClearVoice both connected by my mission to help people and organisations perform to their potential. From 2020 to April 2024 I also ran Wilkowriting, but have since shut this down and incorporated my copywriting offer into Headspace Coaching. Headspace Coaching: Founded in July 2022. It's the evolution of 'Walkoach' which I founded in 2015 and ran in Bristol, on a full or part-time basis, depending on how much work I was getting. Walkoach specialised in coaching, training and organisational development, with an invitation to take learning outdoors, most of which I've carried over to Headspace Coaching, except that I now run coaching and personal development retreats. Please see the website for more details. Wilkowriting - On target copywriting, founded in early 2021, when copywriting became my principle income for a time. Since March 2020 I've been an associate of the consultancy ClearVoice (see below) who I support with copywriting, employee engagement and culture change projects. This includes copywriting for the management consultancy Org (owned by Morgan McKinley), which ClearVoice are a partner of.NB. During the periods I was engaged in agency work and working eg for the University of Bristol and Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, my part-time work was largely suspended.
Coaching, Training & Od Consultant
ClearVoice is an employee engagement consultancy specialising in preparing you for a future of work which is human. I joined as an associate on the basis that we could achieve more working together. Initially I helped run Clear Voice's free employee engagement forums, rewrote the its landing page, and led on coaching, leadership and management training. I now support Clear Voice with various commissions such as its work for the management consultancy Org. Please see the website for further details. www.clearvoicecomms.co.uk
Freelance Copywriter (Part-Time Contract)
Rewrote North Wales Training's new website, supplied copy including news stories for a number of marketing campaigns (promoted on social media), and created presentations for the launch of their new Copa England Apprenticeships service. All of which they were delighted with. I also provided them with project management support including the development of project initiation documents and project plans for a couple of new projects.
Associate Corporate Trainer
I delivered most of the 'soft skills' classroom training programmes for this national training provider such as leadership and management, communication skills, supervision, assertiveness, time management, project management, train the trainer (etc), at Activia's Bristol venue or at client premises about one or two days per week. Tragically Activia went insolvent the day of the UK coronavirus lockdown due to the bottom falling out of the classroom training market.
Unlocking Performance Through Employee Engagement Conference Project Manager
Working on a part-paid part voluntary basis I project managed 'Unlocking Performance through Employee Engagement' a major new conference, held at University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, 25th June 2019. This was a collaboration between EFS, University of the West of England Business School, Construction Industry Training Board and Institute of Leadership & Management. I chaired the organising committee of sponsoring organisations, helped develop, market and run it, as well as co-facilitating one of its workshops and chairing its afternoon plenary. It attracted 150 delegates, was the first of its type to be held in Bristol and was hailed a great success.
