This gave me a tremendous opportunity to get involved immediately with all aspects of the testing lifecycle and gave me access to a broad spectrum of different technologies.I gained experience in Oracle and Informix SQL, navigating UNIX systems, working with Web front ends, SOAP web services across Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apex front end reporting screens, Handheld Platforms and Uniface Systems. As the lead tester in many of the projects, I was responsible for creating and maintaining Test Plans and scripts for the Waterfall bases projects and also working on user stories, maintaining acceptance criteria and attending scrums for the Agile based projects.I have experience working alongside 3rd parties, following test plans created externally to HDNL and managing a test stream where there are often conflicting methodologies in play (externally waterfall, internally agile for example).Many of the project and changes that I have worked on have all been delivered within extremely tight deadlines while this brings many challenges, I have become adept at quickly reviewing any available project / change documentation, understanding the QA requirements and formulating the required testing approach.
