I have always enjoyed a challenge and thrive within a dynamic environment which is when I am at my best. Being within a multidisciplinary educational setting. I am enthusiastic and positive and think on my feet. I have strong reflective abilities which enables me to develop and apply new skills and experience. Patient centred care is my prime focus. 1) Specialist in Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) and nutritional support2) Experience in working with many clinical conditions and settings 3) I have experience in both acute and community settings and working closely within a multidisciplinary environment 4) Responsibility of managing the appropriate use and prescription for parenteral nutrition on medical and surgical wards. The result being a decrease of inappropriate usage and more appropriate use of enteral tube feeding and oral feeding, through training and education to the medical and surgical teams 5) Lead for Dietetic students. I have assisted in the development of many future Dietitian's6) Identification and completion of audits to assist my personal and Continuous Professional Development (CPD), service development, and to meet departmental and clinical governance targets7) Development of policies such as a hospital trust 'Enteral Feeding Policy'8) The development of the Dietetic role in Parkinson's disease and falls prevention multidisciplinary programmes, and the importance of malnutrition screening9) Leading CPD development within the department 10) Currently auditing hand grip dynamometry as a nutritional marker11) Recently identified research gaps through MSc module on COPD and anthropometric outcomes
