When he noticed the issue, he did not put things on hold and wait to hear back from engineering on a potential fix. He thought ahead and ran a mini DOE to help determine root cause and failure mode sensitivities so when engineering did get involved, we had all the data available. In addition to his get it done mentality he is the kind of person coworkers and customers really enjoy talking with, he listens to what people have to say.
