Responsible for the development and review of all national qualifications and ultimately quality assurance processes across the agriculture and water industries.Managed, monitored and improved the national quality assurance system covering over 3000 industry workplaces and 300 providers as well as the organisation’s internal quality assurance systems with over 8000 trainees and approximately 3000 new trainees per annum.

Scope: Responsible for the financial and project management of qualification development projects involving the following sectors: Agriculture, Architecture, Steel Manufacturing, Sports Turf, Printing and Allied Industries, Local Government, Occupational and Recreational Diving, Construction Management, Surveying, and Architectural Draughting.Achievement: All sectors I was responsible for aligned their career and qualification pathway with the National Qualifications. I gained approval to developed and introduced a project management system to the Framework Development Team, which was responsible for the project management of 200 plus projects by 23 project managers and 6 support staff. The introduction included working with ACE Training to develop a customised course for the team.

Scope: Responsible for key accounts in the lower North Island including:Mobil, Shell, BP, AgResearch, HortResearch, Crop & Food Research, Dairy Research Institute, Kiwi Dairy Co-Op, Massey University, Methanex, Wallaceville Research Centre, New Zealand Pharmaceuticals, Dunlop Tyres, Ballance Agri-Nutrients, Shell Todd Oil Services, Te Papa and a range many smaller clients. Achievement: Successful in building mutually beneficial relationship with the industrial, academic, scientific and medical fields. Account management of key customers and agency management for Nikon Scientific Products.Role extension: New Zealand Manager for Nikon Scientific ProductsAchievement: Achieved 50% volume increase of laboratory grade products primarily with large intuitional customers. 100% increase in research grade microscopic systems primarily within universities.
