Preparation and delivery of The QQI Level 4 Floor & Wall tiling module for South Dublin County Partnership

As a self employed tiling contractor. I tile commercial and residential premises, from one off houses to housing schemes and am responsible for delivering high quality work on time on budget every time . I was a partner in a Stone tile import business which sold to retail and wholesale customers. I was jointly responsible for the day to day running of the company but principally responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety for staff and visitors on the premises and the safe operation of the warehouse.These duties included:• Health & Safety Officer.• Trained new staff, induction days and in Health & Safety procedures, SOP’s.• Trained office & Sales staff on computer in house packages, call soft, quick books, MS Office• Organised all office duties, Sales targets, purchasing containers, customer liaising, marketing, advertising, accounts and revenue returns.• Co-ordinated colleagues weekly to meet sales targets.• Responsible for the overall running of the business from day to day.• Closed sales, with over one million euros in 2009.• Controlled stock from Spain, Germany, Turkey, China and UK.• Warehouse & Logistics• Created website, customer care, and repeat business.
