Achieves and drives department and store sales Demonstrates ability to be a sales leader and role model to staff Enforces and personally delivers on the highest form of service standardsTrainingProvides on sales floor coaching and mentoring daily to sales staff Leads and ensures completion of 3 month orientation for all department staff Provides continuous coaching and training to achieve “A Level” status in all department staff Responsible to disseminate all communication to team as required including merchandising and policy and procedure changes Facilitate and lead product knowledge and department team meetingsOperationsInitiates and enforces execution of pricing/ signing, restocking and receiving, and Sale Prep Executes on assigned department presentation as per seasonal merchandising planner Follows and enforces all corporate LP and OH&S policies and procedures and all cash and audit procedures as per Corporate Policy and Procedure Manual Hard Goods Department Managers - Maintains and executes on tech shop service and maintenance standards Hard Good or Soft Good Department Managers must be product experts but also is responsible to provide leadership by coaching and developing product knowledge in sales and support staff Monitors store weekly scheduling requirements and reacts when needed on a shift by shift basis Initiates and presents plans for department improvements and strategies Assumes responsibility for all operations of the store in the absence of the manager and or Assistant Manager Participates in preparation and execution of annual inventory Continually identifies needs and opportunities in staffing requirements Assists and participates in hiring process Completes all performance reviews in a timely and effective manner
