In my role as global CEO of Fairmont I was responsible for overseeing the brand’s strategic direction, financial performance, and business development for its conic portfolio of more than 100 operational and upcoming hotels across 30 countries. I was also a member of Accor’s Global Luxury & Lifestyle Executive Committee.Together with my excellent executive team, we worked closely with our hotel teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure that the Fairmont brand and our guests’ experience continued to meet and exceed expectations.Fairmont had several exciting pre-opening projects during my tenure, including the highly anticipated Fairmont Tokyo, the luxurious Fairmont Dubai Skyline, and the breathtaking Fairmont The Red Sea.

I turned the region into the company's most profitable during my tenure, recording an exceptional comeback after the pandemic. During this 4 year tenure I was also a member of the Global Executive Committee of Accor.

I was responsible for the hotel group's operations across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, with 85 hotels and over 80 hotel projects in the development pipeline. Among many highlights was the appointment of the first-ever Saudi national female general manager in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

After a year of transition in 2015 that saw Africa separate from the remit due to continued growth across all brands, I became responsible for Turkey and the Middle East. I led the opening of 22 hotels in 2015 and 2016, ensuring continued aggressive growth across the region.

That period of actual development for the brands across the area culminated with over 15 hotel openings in 24 months and a positive pipeline of hotels.
