A resident of Renfrew County for over forty years, and an active resident of the Madawaska Valley for the last twelve years, living on Mask Island, Mark has deep roots in the area. Mark has twenty six years of municipal council experience, twenty two years in Arnprior and the last four serving the Township of Madawaska Valley. He has served on or been chair of every major committee including: finance, public works, emergency services, police, and recreation. He is currently the council representative on the Barry’s Bay BIA, the Madawaska Valley Public Library and is the Chair of the Council Recreation Committee.In addition to his council experience he has over thirty years of municipal employment, where he often dealt with and reported directly to Council. He has the knowledge and understanding of what it is like to be on both sides of the table, which provides a solid and unique understanding of what attributes a good council member must have.Currently Mark is running in the 2022 October Election for Mayor of the Township of Madawaska Valley. His strong municipal background and his passion for and dedication to the municipal process and the people of the Township make him the "Right Choice for Real Experience".
