I am deeply passionate about the vital role of strong school leadership and effective teaching in inspiring student aspirations. I truly believe that every student has the potential to achieve remarkable things. My commitment to my own professional development drives me to constantly seek new ideas and insights.Now in my nineteenth year of teaching, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of outstanding schools both in the UK and internationally. My experience spans Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and I thrive on the challenges of engaging with different age groups. As a school leader, I strive to foster a calm, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone can focus on their responsibilities while also embracing opportunities for growth. I value respect, honesty, and gratitude, and I approach challenges with a positive mindset, believing that with focus and determination, anything is achievable.I am organised and thoughtful in my approach, yet flexible enough to adapt to the ever-changing demands of school life. My passion for education drives me to positively impact the lives of children and elevate their expectations. I uphold the principles of respect, positivity, and resilience in my daily interactions with students, staff, and parents.Ambitious and eager to expand my knowledge of effective teaching and leadership, I have pursued further learning since earning my Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management. I completed my NPQ in Leading Teacher Development and designed our school’s integrated professional development, instructional coaching, and subject monitoring programs, which include a professional development library and an online teaching hub. In Autumn 2024 I will begin my NPQH. Additionally, I now lead on Assessment across the school, manage our Pupil Premium project, oversee our SEN hub provision, chair a local schools partnership development group whilst balancing these projects with delivering on the day-to-day operations of the school.
