As a Director of IT for The Walt Disney Company, I consistently drove operations transformation through cutting-edge technology projects.During my 25-year career with Disney, I am proud to have built world-class technology organizations of up to 250 team members. I managed one of Disney’s largest application portfolios and upgraded supply chain, warehouse management, engineering, facilities, manufacturing, retail management, sales and marketing systems, reservation center, and transportation operations. My teams consistently identified improvement opportunities, delivering real savings and productivity gains across numerous areas. I have actively managed operating budgets up to $15M and capital budgets up to $80M, aligning technology programs with business goals. I have also formed trusted relationships with site CIOs and global business counterparts, collaborating with stakeholders and peers to strengthen growth and productivity through comprehensive product and technical roadmaps.Our work is projected to improve global efficiency by 10% across 25+ park warehouses, optimizing $400M in inventory through our $50M Blue Yonder SaaS Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation. I led a $50M program to integrate Disney Magic Band into the existing ecosystems of 20+ applications as part of an overall corporate program which was named a top innovation by Fast Company and Fortune Magazines. My team also optimized Disney’s merchandise and supply chain operations through the launch of our $36M Oracle Retail Management ERP solution. In my early work at Disney, I managed the Walt Disney World Project Management Office (PMO), serving as Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Project Management Council with a focus on governance. I drove our $15M Magic in Motion program, cutting labor and bus operations expenses through computer-aided dispatching, automatic vehicle location, and real-time fleet optimization across Walt Disney World. I started my career in roles with Ford Motor Company and Comsys Technical Services, utilizing Lean Manufacturing methodologies and developing user interface standards for multi-platform human-machine interfaces and SCADA systems.I consistently expand my technical and leadership skills, earning a US patent (Automated Attraction and Ride Maintenance Verification System) and serving as an Executive Board Member for Help Now Of Osceola.
