CurrentI am an experienced Planning Director with over 25 years in practice both in private consultancy, local authority and 'client-side' with a major renewable energy development company. Part of leadership team for the Northern Planning Team and Net Zero Infrastructure sector group at TurleyI presently provide planning consultancy advice to all sectors of the property and development market, presently with a particular specialism in the successful promotion of urban regeneration / renewable energy developments. My portfolio of clients includes Cubico Renewables, New Energy Partnership, Arlington Energy, Shaw Energy, Vital Energi, Balfour Beatty Investments - amongst many others.Current / recent portfolio of work includes:- Planning lead for major onshore wind development which will be one of the first in England for over 10 years. - Planning and EIA lead for new research facility at The Christie -The Paterson Redevelopment Project - which will support their aspiration to become a world top-5 cancer research centre (pp secured). Also advising in respect of the redevelopment of North Manchester General Hospital.- Planning and EIA lead for Manchester Civic Quarter Energy Centre and Heat Network for Manchester City Council (pp secured). - Planning lead for multiple Battery Energy Storage projects in England and Scotland ranging from 50-500MW and engaging in various consenting regimes including Town and Country Planning Act and Section 36 consent.- Planning lead for new 700 bed PBSA development in Leeds City Centre for Balfour Beatty Investments. - Advising Breedon Group on plans for Carbon Capture plant at existing facility as part of the DCO application for the Peak Cluster project.- Planning and EIA lead for PBSA / Co Living development for IQSA providing over 900 beds of accommodation (pp secured).
