CHSMWL Training Officer: Responsible for all aspects of training within the Wing, which consists of five fleet helicopter squadrons, one reserve squadron and one Fleet Replacement (Training) Squadron. Primarily duty was implementing the Defense Readiness Reporting System - Navy (DRRS-N) which tracks the training and readiness of over 2,000 aircrew and maintenance personnel and 80 aircraft. Other duties included implementing new capabilities into the Fleet Readiness Training Program and issuing or revising Wing training related instructions.MH-60R/VTUAV Transition Officer: Coordinated all aspects of standing up new helicopter squadrons and transitioning existing SH-60B squadrons to the MH-60R Seahawk helicopter. This job entailed the management of personnel, air vehicle logistics, simulation, facilities and training capacity issues. Additionally, managed the Wing's implementation of the Navy's Vertical Take-off Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) program which has now deployed the MQ-8B Fire Scout on board three separate U.S. Naval warships.CHSMWL Facilities Manager: Managed Wing requirements during the final building stages of a $76M aircraft hangar at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Wing liaison for the $24M renovation of the existing five bay helicopter hangar at Naval Station Mayport.In addition to these duties, I was a qualified instructor for the SH-60B and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida, through their Executive MBA program on campus.

Air Department Assistant Air Officer (Asst. Department Head): Directly responsible to the Air Officer for the training, readiness and administrative requirements of 170 personnel in the Air Department on board an Amphibious Assault Carrier. As Assistant Air Officer, I planned and assisted the Airboss in the safe conduct of flight operations for the USMC Air Combat Element consisting of 25 helicopters and 6 STOVL (short take-off and vertical landing) AV-8B jet aircraft. Other Air Department responsibilities included maintaining the aviation fueling equipment, issuing aviation fuel, handling USMC and USN aircraft on the flight deck and in the hangar bay, crash and salvage and the upkeep of all flight deck and hangar spaces. Qualified as one of 14 Command Duty Officers on board a ship with a crew and compliment of 3,000 personnel.
