The internet has drastically changed how the masses consume content. Streaming services like Netflix are replacing cable. Youtube and Twitch are replacing broadcast. Podcasts are replacing radio. The news feed is replacing the newspaper. While Hollywood is terrified of these industry changes, these innovations excite me. Smaller producers are now able to have a voice, dismantling large corporations’ hold on media. Larger companies now have the opportunity to engage with their fans on a deeper level than ever before.
