I re-established Coverpoint in 2020 after returning to New Zealand from my two year overseas adventure in Timor-Leste (East Timor). It has been good to re-connect with my NZ clients and continue to work on overseas development projects with an international partner. Coverpoint specialises in the facilitation of organisational change (strategy, governance, business cases, partnering, dispute resolution, coaching/mentoring) and project assurance engagements. Since setting up the company in 2013 Coverpoint have carried out a number of high profile facilitation and assurance engagements for over 50 public and private sector clients.Coverpoint have a strong network of experienced and trusted associates in the New Zealand market who we can bring in as and when the situation requires. We have also formed strong partnerships with other consulting organisations in New Zealand and overseas.

Following on from two years volunteering in Timor-Leste the government asked me to return as an international management advisor and continue working with their international partners to help develop the fledgling Timor economy. Very much a 'start up' country it was a privilege to continue to work with TradeInvest and support the Timorese people on their journey.Sadly, this role came to an end early as we were evacuated from Timor back to NZ due to COVID

Trade-Invest is a government agency in Timor-Leste (youngest country in Asia) tasked with helping develop its growing economy through attracting overseas investment and promoting exports. My role is to assist them develop a strategy and ensure they are setup for success.I was volunteering in Timor-Leste through Voluntary Services Abroad (VSA) along with my partner Lara who is a kindergarten teacher. With our kids grown up and living around the world we decided to take time out to have our own overseas adventure !
