As Quality Engineer, provide support for the operation and maintenance of the company’s Quality System including but not limited to auditing, reporting, inspection, evaluation, metrology, supplier non-conformance and evaluation

• Be the “Gatekeeper” between Engineering and Production for electronic issues• Work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering and Production to improve design for manufacture and assembly of products• Provide input into new product development with a particular focus on design for manufacture, assembly and testing methods• Conduct fault finding techniques and recommend product enhancements • Improve production first time capability for existing products• Provide support to the Production Quality Department • Lead / participate in product improvement projects• Participate in DFMEA / PFMEA / PCP activity• Actively participate in cross functional project development teams• Represent Production on prototype builds and pilot production reviews • Work closely with Engineering and Production to provide electronic manufacturing engineering capability to rectify product issues• Develop and undertake required reporting• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environment and OHS&W policies and procedures
