Coordinate and participate in implementation of environmental programs in accordance with company and government requirements. Maintain and develop environmental compliance documents and records, e.g. manifests, inspection records, analytical test data, waste stream profiling records, etc. Oversee and coordinate activities of hazardous waste for timely removal and disposal. Assist management with recommendations and training on environmental programs. Assist in safety investigations and corrective action plans. Responsible for all data entry transactions involved with radioisotope inventory and waste procedures. Process various chemical and radiological waste streams. Calibration of detection and survey equipment. Perform annual chemical inventory audits within assigned labs. Perform annual fume hood air flow certifications and on an as needed basis.
