Designed and developed applications to provided Claims Audit capabilities, Claims history web services, data extraction and conversion.Built VB.Net applications for Claims to interface with third party vendors passing and receiving data. Clams data was queried from Claims Oracle database and passed in XML.Built ColdFusion applications to process Credit Card payments, support Agent contact information data transfer to downstream systems, provide claims inquiry service, and Policy inquiry service.Built Conversion utilities for old claims system.Using third party software Clientsoft, built a CICS / AS400 screen scraping system to port Policy modifications to the Web. Work involved Oracle development, and Web development using HTML and ASP. The application itself was written in a Clientsoft proprietary language.Developed a TCP/IP communication system for Claims Processing. Work involved Oracle development, NT and Windows scripting, and Assembler CICS. The application takes requests from a PC workstation and passes them to CICS using standard TCP/IP protocols. CICS accepts the requests and formats the required data then returns it to the requester. General application maintenance and production support.
