DataHaven is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving well-being, equity, and quality of life in Connecticut by collecting and sharing high-quality public information. DataHaven is a formal affiliate of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP).• Direct program development, data collection and analysis, public outreach, fundraising, and administration for DataHaven, a non-profit organization supported by major institutions, health care providers, local and regional government agencies, and community-based organizations in Connecticut.• Raised over $6 million in grants and fee-for-service contracts since 2010, enabling DataHaven to hire and sustain additional staff and increase statewide impact.• Create and direct projects, including collection and analysis of major new statewide surveys, and development of innovative cross-sector community indicator reports for Connecticut, Greater New Haven, Fairfield County, Greater Hartford, Naugatuck Valley, and other regions within of Connecticut.• Provide data development, consulting, technical assistance, and grant writing services to over 100 institutions, nonprofit organizations, and public sector agencies, including cities of New Haven, Hartford, Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Meriden, State of Connecticut, South Central Regional Council of Governments, Yale University, Yale-New Haven Health, Western Connecticut Health Network, St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford HealthCare, Stamford Hospital, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Aspen Institute, Greater New Haven NAACP, New Haven Early Childhood Council, Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, Greater Dwight Development Corporation, and many philanthropic organizations throughout Connecticut.• Hired and/or supervised over 50 full-time staff, part-time interns, fellows, and independent contractors.

Guest lecturer and contributor to projects at the Yale School of Public Health, related to my full-time role as the Executive Director of DataHaven.

Three year W.K. Kellogg Foundation program involving a cohort of approximately 24 national fellows, plus 100 place-based fellows in New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Michigan.

Hired as DataHaven Project Director (appointed as Executive Director by Board at end of year); contributed to other non-profit consulting projects.

Coordinated marketing strategy including RFP responses and firm interviews, public relations, professional photography and award submittals for $5M architectural firm with 30 employees. Contributed to architectural drafting, rendering, report writing, project management, site research and master planning.

Conceptualized, programmed and implemented database-driven reports detailing urban regions and advertising trends by family of business for a newly-created, centralized division of Macy’s encompassing 450 stores and USD $2B/yr revenue; developed automated analysis tools for non-technical users. Presented weekly trend reports to SVPs and other senior executives.

Developed written and visual content for and directly assisted Deputy Mayor of New York City and Executive Director with presentations to government officials, major corporations, nonprofits and community groups throughout New York State. Contributed to plans for Olympic facilities and projected financial budgets, managed Bid databases and multimedia content.
