About Mark B.

I have 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. I started my career with the largest gas distribution and transmission company in Texas, known as Lone Star Gas before deregulation in the 90's now known as Atmos Energy. Started in repairing pipeline construction equipment and progressed up to construction foreman. transitioned over to Quanta utility services as Pipeline construction superintendent. Added a hot tap and stopple crew, a hydro-testing crew, and a hydro-vac crew enhancing the services provided to the oil and gas companies during the Barnett gas shale play in North Texas. When the Barnett died down I moved into inspection with a company in the Bakken shale play in western North Dakota working myself from field inspector to Construction Manager. Responsible for all pipeline and compressor construction north of the Missouri river and east of the Montana state line for Hiland Partners. After 5 years I moved back to Texas to the Permian Basin. Went to work for Gulf Companies contracted to Anadarko Petroleum Company as a facilities inspector working myself up to Chief Inspector over oil, gas, and salt water disposal facility construction.Decided to transition into renewable energy with ENEL as a civil supervisor for wind tower construction. I have since moved into the field of renewable natural gas and bring my expertise to Archaea Energy as a Sr. Manager of construction. Building gas processing plants converting landfill methane emissions into reliable natural gas.
