Most recently I've been focused on cyber security, compliance and certification. to understand Security from the ground up I first certified as an ethical hacker. This provided me with the practical skills to build upon while identifying the vulnerabilities to our business and then designing the cyber defences we required in line with the level of risk agreed with the executive. My duties covered daily NDS, NT, and printer administration, server builds and configuration, policy and security configuration, and assisting with the companies’ daily backups. I managed their Veritas Netbackup SAN, which compromised five robots, 3 media servers and the master server running Veritas Netbackup for NT V3.4. I also managed and assisted with various projects within the IT department, the largest of which was in 2001 when I spent two months working in Lagos, Nigeria helping to set up a new route and supporting the desktop, server and network installation and configuration in the Country. This was as part of a small team, working from the ground up.
