This year I went to a conference and I was asked to put on my name tag the things I stand for and care about. I wrote, "Joyful Creation, Empathy, and Building Communities". I love building new businesses and believe that while unbelievably difficult, the process of creation should be joyful. It has been my experience that the secret of business and life success is heavily dependent upon empathy and putting yourself in the other persons shoes.
