Roles included 4 US production facilities (Anniston, Chocolate Bayou, Krummrich, Westport). Staffing included 2 site leads and 4 buyers. • Developed Procurement Strategies for Heat Transfer Fluids, Aviation Fluids, and Entrepreneurial Growth Platform• Developed supply agreements for $35M of raw material including specialty alkylates, phosphate esters, and proprietary chemicals and $44M of indirect materials ranging from MRO items to site services. • Organized facilities management for Global HQ building in St. Louis culminating in the replacement of contracting firm and on site management. The effort resulted in a $100k savings in fees and $50k in headcount expense.

Role expanded to include other categories such as distributor & specialty chemicals. Solutia Inc. / Monsanto Co. continued • Contracted $16M environmental spend including remediation & consulting efforts, a mandatory step in bankruptcy exit plan.• Organized $15M of contract mfg spend - previously managed differently in each of the 4-platforms - leading to stabilization of spend & procurement with authority to reduce vendors thru consolidation of spend & reduced liability.• Organized over $10M of distributor chemicals spend into a centralized category. This allowed consolidation of vendors and better visualization of pricing consistency. The end result was less stock outs and leverage in future negotiations.
