Directly responsible for overall sales and operations for Mexico and Latin America as well as export to SEA. Responsibilities include team structure & leadership, business process reengineering, inventory management, strategic business planning, operational policy development, business development, internal consulting, vendor negotiations, technical specification review, and representing the organization on committees. Serve community through teaching in MBA and technology programs at University of Redlands.

Adjunct faculty member teaching courses in information technology in support of undergraduate degree programs.

Management of all aspects of campus technology systems including network administration, telecommunications, business systems development, help desk, Internet/Intranet development, and training. Primary functions included technical team leadership, strategic planning, purchasing, technology presentations, budgeting, system proposals, technical design, vendor negotiations, system implementation/shakedown, maintenance and customer support. Secondary responsibilities included organizational workflow analysis, institutional financial analysis, internal business consulting and representing the institution on external technology committees. Hands-on proficiency with a wide range of computer/network hardware and software.

Responsibilities included the structuring, development and managerial oversight of functional teams for Information Systems Design, Internet Development, Telecommunications, User Training, Help Desk Services and Disaster Recovery for systems supporting up to 2400 employees. Propose, schedule and track Information System projects against performance plans. Develop and monitor budget expenditures against targets. Develop the technical support infrastructure for network sites worldwide. Propose, implement and support voice systems including customers call centers with computer telephony integration (CTI) functionality. Develop business proposals to cost effectively expand Information Systems operations at local and remote sites. Manage the development and rollout of Internet Web Sites, On-Line Services and Multimedia CD-ROM products. Design and deliver technical seminars for both internal and external customers (audiences up to 300 attendees).

Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrade planning for 18 Novell local area networks at sites around the world. Design, implement, install, and document new networks as new sites are opened. Provide technical leadership for new information system projects in all departments. Purchase, install and configure concentrators, bridges/routers, file servers, print servers, application servers, fax servers, communications servers, e-mail servers, printers and workstations. Implement wide area communications links (dial-up, 56K point-to-point and frame relay) for connectivity between corporate sites including installation and configuration of time-division multiplexors, CSU/DSU's and synchronous modems. Maintain SNMP management system and design new additions to system to improve reliability. Install, configure and troubleshoot software applications. Coordinate with vendors for all network purchases and communications services.

Responsibilities include Novell local area network installation, wiring, configuration, documentation and troubleshooting. Advise clients on technical requirements. Install and configure dial-up remote communications systems. Configure routers and peripheral sharing devices. Troubleshoot and repair microcomputers and printers. Design and implement office automation systems. Accomplish programming and technical research to satisfy client requirements. Install and configure commercial software packages in accordance with client needs. Coordinate and resolve technical issues. Provide client training and phone support.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the execution of technical projects. Achieved position of team leader for a large development project. Major responsibilities included task scheduling, coordination between departments, resolution of issues and training of team members. Special responsibilities included database programming, spreadsheet programming, word processor technical support and project management software implementation. Certified trainer in High Involvement Work Systems.

Responsible for the installation, test, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of telecommunications systems. Equipment included computer terminals, teleprinters, patch panels, multiplexors and modems.
