Nutrien became a client of ProcessMetric in 2019. After nearly three years of partnership, they asked me to head up their Digital Architecture team. We are currently re-platforming their Digital back- and front-end systems that process nearly 3 billion in revenue each year. We are also creating platform to promote sustainable agriculture through data science. Finally, we help our customers track and monitor carbon emissions for regulatory purposes and to help them benefit from sustainable agriculture incentive programs.

The Society for Information Management (SIM) brings together IT leaders to share, network and give back to their communities through the collaboration of local chapters. I currently serve the SIM National Management Council as Co-Director of the National Programs Committee. Our 2016 objective is to help improve the quality of local SIM chapters' programs. I had the honor of working with some amazing people at the City of Greeley, a city that lives its motto - Achieving Community Excellence. The primary themes of my tenure were to transform the IT organization into a customer service driven culture, to establish program and project management best practices, and to create a strategic Cybersecurity program. To do these things, we1) Reorganized our department to focus on better serving our internal customers and community, implementing ITIL as an operating framework. 2) Trained the management staff on PMI principles and stood up a governing body to help prioritize and budget for disparate departmental needs.3) Evolved Cybersecurity from an IT playbook into a strategic program supported by the Executive team. 4) Hired an outstanding CISO who established a security governance framework based on NIST risk management principles, working closely with the executive team to build common purpose and support.4) Tied all of these programs together by leveraging Atlasssian tools including Jira and Confluence as an operating platform, enabling us to more effectively coordinate work between IT divisions and to become data-driven in our decision making and management.But for the pull of entrepreneurial aspirations, I would have continued to enjoy serving this excellent community.

I'm pleased to serve my local SIM chapter to help spread the word about the great work our chapter does to strengthen the community of Information Technology leaders in Colorado. This year we will be working on increasing brand awareness of the SIM Colorado chapter among local IT Executives.
