I am a fourth-year Forensic Biology specialist student at the University of Toronto. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I have been working to broaden my experience in field work to pursue a career in forensic identification. As an undergraduate student, I was able to develop a strong background in the general sciences and gained practical laboratory experience. I am continuously expanding my knowledge of forensic science in the courses I take and the volunteer experiences I partake in. I have expanded my knowledge in the Forensic Identification Field School and gained hands-on experiences with advanced methods used in forensic identification, while simultaneously strengthening my communication and speaking skills through lab and case reports or delivery of expert testimony in moot court settings. My volunteer experience has allowed me to build my interpersonal skills as well as collaboration in a team setting. I enjoy working with a group of people who share the same interests as me and my commitment to forensics allows me to be a strong team player. I look forward to continuing to grow and develop my skills in my forensics career.
