As the Development Manager, Mark is responsible for setting objectives, defining strategies, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Prior to joining Strongbox, Mark served 6 years in the Air Force as an Acquisitions Officer, where he worked on various projects to include: an electronic warfare upgrade for the F-15EX Strike Eagle II, the propulsion system for the next Air Force One, Airframe improvements on the V-22 Osprey, supersonic passenger travel, and Hypersonic vehicle investments. Mark is combining his defense background and Real Estate education to provide new business opportunities for the Strongbox team. Mark lives in Cincinnati with his fiancé, Avni.

Patuxent River Naval Air Station

• Wrote $47M contract to buy aircraft parts and specialized manpower from Boeing.• Prevented airframe cracks on the V-22 aircraft – enabling less degradation in flight time for US Special Forces • Led $5M research project on increasing engine efficiency across fleet of 450 V-22 aircraft.

Wright Patterson Afb

• Wrote two government contracts worth $120M to Boom Technology Inc. and Hermeus Corp.• Hosted three conferences (300+ attendees) with commercial industry and vetted potential candidates to receive government funding for research and development.• Executed three separate $750k contracts for future Air Force executive transport aircraft.• Coordinated an agreement with NASA and Air Force Research Laboratory to make government research facilities more accessible to hypersonic and supersonic startups.

Wright Patterson Afb

• Reported cost, schedule, performance on $450M propulsion system installed on the VC-25B.• Communicated with maintainers to ensure that equipment and parts were in place and tracked the installation of maintenance actions.• Executed critical safety fixes to the aircraft while communicating with multiple government organizations including the White House Military Office.

Wright Patterson Afb

• Responsible for replacing obsolete Electronic Warfare System for fleet of 413 F-15 aircraft.• Led $36M software development with 10-man team from Boeing and BAE Systems engineers.• Led $2.3M upgrade of Boeing Laboratory, saved government $400k through negotiations.
