Responsible for the Strategic Sourcing function for Stryker Kalamazoo based businesses, Instruments and Medical. The Stategic Sourcing Director acts as a member of the Kalamazoo Operations leadership team as well as being responsible for the Sourcing activities supporting Operations, Research and Development, Business Development, and M&A Activity.

Responsible for Strategic Sourcing Teams and related activities for Stryker's MedSurg Group divisions in North America including Endoscopy, Communications, Sustainability Solutions, Medical, and Instruments.

• Responsible for operational management of the Patient Handling Business Unit. • Directly responsible for 125 person team consisting of production associates, Team Supervisors, Team Leaders, Buyers, Planners and Manufacturing Engineers. Influential over support groups such as Quality, Supplier Quality, Advanced Operations, Sustainment Engineering, Process Engineering, and New Product Development.• Main responsibilities include overall responsibility for meeting revenue objectives, overall performance to budget, P&L results, ensuring product availability maintaining product lead times and meeting delivery commitments, ensuring product quality and overall running a profitable business unit.

• Responsible for 15 person team consisting of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and Supplier Engineers.• Advanced Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for supporting the New Product Development Process in areas of: Design for manufacturability, PFMEA, DFMEA, Validation of fabrication and Assembly process and equipment, Assembly line layout and execution of assembly process including developing standard work, training, ergonomic evaluations, inspection and test.• Led team through the new product development and acquisition process across all business units. • Built new structure, created vision, hired staff for new Advanced Operations Team. Also created updated systems and procedures in order to improve our ability to launch new products quickly, ensure full compliance, meet cost targets, and provide innovative solutions to our customers.

Supply Chain Manager for Quebec City Manufacturing Division. responsible for 28 person team consisting of Warehouse management, Material Handling, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, New Product Purchasing, and Value Engineering. Served on Executive Staff for this facility which included Management Review, Strategic Planning, Compliance Commitee, as well as resposibility fr performance for key divisional objectives.

Responsible for Global Supplier selection and Sourcing of Medical components.

Responsilbe for supplier development program and team. Responsible for setting direction for future supply chain development with focus on Compliance, Quality, Cost, Consolidation, Performance.

Responsible for establishing Supplier Development strategy, tools, procedures and vision. Responsible for creating systems and methods to analyze the current supply base and execute improvment projets to improve overall performance.

Responsible for Supplier Managent of specific commodities in Plastics, Metals, Stamping, wire harness assembly, and Raw Material. Managed Sourcing localization projects with support from Japan headquarters. Managed VA/VE activity and program in Purchasing team.
