Finance Manager
CurrentResponsible for all financial recordkeeping for a $5 million year home owner's association including financial statement preparation, asset accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, billing, and employee retirement funding.Reconcile ten bank statements monthly encompassing Operations, Reserve, and Special Project funds. Reconcile multiple credit card accounts and receipts monthly.Securly maintain database of homeowner bank account information that generates $200,000 in monthly revenue via electronic fund transfers.Supervise, develop, and review all association financial activities and policies, and ensure financial health of the association. Responsible for cash flow analysis and invest excess revenue to ensure maximum rate of return.Collaborate with Director to manage association's annual budget to ensure accuracy and alignment with operating and capital projects.Continually monitor and evaluate potential improvements of internal controls, systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient daily operations.Ensure complete, accurate, timely, and understandable financial reporting to the Board of Directors, staff, and public.Maintains compliance and undertakes necessary responsibilities required for annual audit of financial statements. Works closely with third-party auditor to ensure clean audit opinions and ensure tax forms are filed in a timely manner. Generate and file required annual 1099 Forms to vendors and IRS.Maintain positive, effective, and constructive written and oral communication skills at all times with staff and public.
