In my prior role as the Director of Soy Product Management at Equinom, I was responsible for driving the creation and implementation of a cohesive soy product strategy which included: -Defining product requirements, new capabilities, service providers, and the roadmap to success by working across the organization.-Communicating with strategic partners to develop R&D projects that correspond with company strategy. -Creating and implementing the project plan, execution and budgets.-Identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and tracking metrics of products to establish and enhance the proposed product construct.-Providing a clear and unbiased assessment of project progress in relation to production costs and expenses. -Engaging the internal team for execution of the projects and be the focal point for external stakeholders and deliverables. -Developing sales enablement materials in partnership with Marketing. I led the the marketing strategy for global sales of high performance soy protein for the aquaculture industry. In addition, I developed our export strategy for high quality sorghum and other soy products. Finally, I was the co-captain on Global Processing's team for marketing high oleic soybean oil.As Indigo's Marketplace Commercial Development Manager, I evaluated, developed, and executed high value strategic initiatives and processes to support Indigo’s Marketplace teams and leadership. In my role, I identified and outlined clear, measurable projects to improve Marketplace processes and/or performance.As Director of Strategic Market Development for the Illinois Soybean Association, I was responsible for international and domestic soybean marketing and promotion. I managed project areas that include exports, biodiesel, livestock, specialty soybeans and aquaculture.Previously, I was the web administration coordinator for COUNTRY Financial and also worked for ADM as a commodities merchandiser, grain elevator manager and credit analyst. I was the state committee chair for the U.S. Agriculture Coalition for Cuba (USACC) and served on the Marine Committee for the National Aquaculture Association (NAA).
