Led completion of 30+ growth, maintenance, productivity projects annually ($20M) for US and EMEA CPG businesses, with a combined portfolio of 1,000+ product SKU’s. Led major cross-functional initiatives, set strategy and tackled critical business issues as a core member of Prestone and Holts brand leadership teams. Supported FRAM and Bendix product lines. Drove innovation in creating products across multiple forms (liquids, aerosols, wipes, dispensers) and categories (surface cleaners/treatments, oil/fuel/driveline additives, cooling system treatments, windshield products, safety devices).  Launched 5 new products under a tight deadline, securing a 300-store trial at Walmart. Secured a $7M initial product sell-in by developing an innovative new product line targeted to women. Enabled $15M share of demand growth by developing a new safety product composition and associated global IP strategy. Conducted in-depth regulatory, technology and consumer needs assessments that resulted in new products ($1M in revenue). Achieved savings of $5M+ on productivity projects. Created and implemented process improvements. Collaborated with Marketing and Sales, and identified 60+ new opportunities based on emerging trends and consumer research.  Led cross-functional initiative to assess product profitability by sku and customer for a $60M portfolio, with targeted double digit EBITDA improvement. Partnered with European and Asian business teams and identified new global opportunities across 9 product platforms. Teamed with Legal to effectively defend against product claims challenges from US and EU authorities (NAD, ASA, OFT).  Created a Project Leadership Committee process supporting two CPG businesses, that aligned R&D resources with ~60 customer project requests.  Integrated US and EMEA R&D teams and created a cohesive resource to support growth/productivity projects worldwide.

Drove cross-functional activities in development of premium, innovative products. Served on multiple committees of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) to identify regulatory threats and develop response strategies. Secured strategic product listings with Walmart, Target, and AutoZone, as well other key accounts across multiple channels by creating and presenting technical training and building support-based partnerships. Instituted best practices between R&D teams for US and EMEA CPG businesses that enhanced collaboration and promoted global product utilization. Continued providing leadership for Car Care R&D following acquisition of Prestone Products Corporation by Allied Signal in 1997.In 1999, Allied Signal was renamed to Honeywell Corporation following acquisition of Honeywell. Led the transition of Car Care group to Honeywell R&D and business processes, and aligned objectives with new leadership. Prevented phase-out of important consumer products through active involvement with industry associations and government agencies (CSPA, EPA, CARB, & ACMC/MEMA) around proposed regulations, and educating agencies on product formulations/benefits. Worked with the CPSC and CSPA on regulations targeting aerosol products.
