Creating digital solutions that help organizations carry out their mission is the foundation of my career.My first job out of college was building the original digital report database for the Advisory Board Company to replace the manual process of photocopying printouts every time a subscriber ordered a report.At Freddie Mac I created a new approach to usability testing by conducting mass in-person tests as breakout sessions during conferences. The organization adopted this usability approach and I presented the process at a national user experience conference.CoStar Group brought me on to implement Adobe Analytics (called Omniture SiteCatalyst at the time) and lead the paid search team to out-compete a Silicon Valley startup entering the space. The National Federation of Independent Business hired me to re-imagine their static announcements site. I transformed the site into an award-winning, dynamic, ecommerce platform powered by a custom content management system for which I designed the requirements. Currently, I lead search engine optimization (SEO) for the communications agency, GMMB, where I help large nonprofits and government agencies reach more of their target audiences through my Google Analytics audits, Google Tag Manager implementations, and SEO recommendations.
