I've worked within the HDD industry for more than 35 years - Starting out as a member of a drilling crew in 1986 before being made up to a team leader and instructor for major HDD firms including Flowmole, PLC and Mainline Construction. I made the move into ownership with a long-term friend and colleague in 1998; Mark 2 Directional Drilling ran successfully for 10 years before we parted company in the early stages of 2008. Later that year, I made the decision to set up on my own and following a successful 36 months, MTA Drill Tec Limited was incorporated in 2011As well as continuing relationships with clients from Mark 2, we have continued to make and build new relationships and reinforce existing working partnerships with some of the longest standing and most prestigious utilities companies, water providers and construction firms in the country. Our client base is one we are immensely proud of – from the large multi nationals to the local SME’s, we work on projects with some of best QS’s, Engineers, Delivery Agents and Directors in the UK.We are a small, family run firm, who prioritise the complete satisfaction of our clients and we have worked hard to earn a reputation for quality work and working practices.
