Basic Function: Responsible for running stores to meet and exceed the company’s sales target and adhere to company policies. Typical work activities:• Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.• Responsible for stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.• Dealing with staffing issues including interviewing potential staff.• Implements company policies and operating procedures strictly.• Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, health, and safety are met.• Responding to customer complaints and comments.• Moving around the sales floor regularly, talking to customers, identifying urgent issues, and resolving them.• Preparation and submission of staff rosters to Area Managers for approval.• Initiating needed changes to improve the business.• Train and develop store personnel on the different aspects of store operations.• Ensuring cash and company assets including creative materials are secured and accounted for.• Abreast with the promotions and activities of competitors and acting accordingly• Handling sales, and other duties required by Management.
