Primary Purpose• To lead a team of Shift Managers in prep, welding, finishing and logistics operations with overall responsibility for achieving the KPI standards for Health and Safety, Product Quality, Production Output, Factory Efficiency, OTIF and Team Development and Engagement.• To lead both Production Engineering and Maintenance departments ensuring departmental performance, development and employee engagement.• Lead factory and facility improvement capital projects.• Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement, leading to year on year financial and operational gains.• Strategy development and deployment.• Budget development and adherence. Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for the development and improvement of safety culture, within area of responsibility.• Overall responsibility for fulfilment of production plan at all times across the shifts.• Approximately 75 employees reporting through Line Managers.• Build monthly reports, and define strategy for KPI improvement.• Management and development of production activities in line with world class and lean principles.• Responsible for adherence to policies and strategies across own department.• Management and development of staff through the use of performance management techniques.• Involved in the justification of investment projects e.g. facility improvement, machinery, tools and equipment.• Ensuring that employees’ competences and skills are developed to provide a fully flexible approach.• Budget creation and responsibility for own departments.

Responsible for managing the packaging team's daily and weekly activities in order to meet the departments KPI's for internal and external customer requirements for service and quality at optimum cost, through conformance to the agreed ways of working. KPI’s included Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Productivity, Engagement.

Key Responsibilities:• Producing an achievable MPS that fulfils customer and operational expectations.• Taking a lead role in the S&OP process.• Monitor and report on operational performance using KPI’s.• Gather sales data, analyse trends and produce accurate forecasts.• Assessing the ability to meet demand by reviewing available capacity and scheduling product shortages.• Match supply and demand plans while taking material, labour and machine constraints.• Creating and maintaining timely and accurate product and production details within the ERP system.• Provide cover for Operations manager during holidays, secondments and absenteeism.

Creating and issuing plans and instructions to keep the factory running efficiently to ensure all deliveries were made on time.Key Responsibilities:• Issuing production plans and monitor progress.• To ensure the production departments are given the latest information to support shop floor activities.• Co-ordination of certain sub-contractor supplies, including price, orders and deliveries.• Inputting jobs into ERP system and updating as required.• Assist the production teams with site deliveries, schedules, BOM's etc.• Collecting completed works information.• Organising and ordering Transport within budget
