As an industry expert, the role involves identifying and detailing technical options and evaluating these options with stakeholders.Providing consultancy to support the specification of smart meter variants and communication components.Responsible for developing a strategy for alternative HAN technologies to complement wireless ZigBee, as well as supporting the evaluation of the use of the 868/870MHz bands to support longer range ZigBee communications.
