Customer base includes all auto OEM’s, all aerospace OEM’s, various other OEM’s, as well as multiple tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers.Skills and Expertise• Cultivating new business outside of our core manufacturing expertise by leveraging in-house capabilities and managing and growing existing client base.• Develop pricing models to deliver above average industry margin, prepare quotations, and manage negotiations of contracts.• Increased die casting production sales from $0 to nearly $9M.• Direct manufacturing floor activities regarding production scheduling for our 1st shift 2 machine die casting operation.• Instrumental in locating and acquiring employees in a very niche industry where there is a dearth of talent.• Informally lead die casting team managing personalities, solving disagreements, and coaching advancement, effectively facilitating the success of the team on the manufacturing floor• Lead and plan quality calls and sales calls for all customers regarding PPAP of their products and current production goals and objectives• Identify training needs and activities for employees.• Manage strategic relationships with contracted technical and sales staff.• Identify and hire representatives to assist in marketing Delaware products and services.• Identify and assist in the purchase of equipment designed to improve department safety and productivity all while adhering to lean principles and abiding by all ISO certifications. • Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and manage inventory levels.• Develop and maintain customer relationships with C level executives, purchasing departments and floor level decision makers.• Organize and facilitate national and international trade show and exhibition activities.• Identify and integrate global supply chain in Mexico, China, and Portugal through multiple trips, evaluate capabilities, and onboarding with our management and purchasing group.
