Directed all activities from conception to manufacturing through design/build review meetings, which monitored and approved iterative design on daily basis over 7 - year period.• Led technical efforts of multi-disciplined team of more than 100 engineers, designers, material, operations and planning personnel in the engineering and design development of the Command and Control System Module (CCSM). Integrated more than 50 ship systems, completed on schedule and within budget ($85 million).• Managed implementations of Structurally Integrated Enclosure (SIE) and CCSM Off-hull Assembly and Test Site (COATS) cost savings technologies, guiding each concept through design and installation on the VIRGINIA Class. Each implementation resulted in $5M cost saving per ship ($10M total).
