Current• Conducted presentations advising 25+ small business “start ups,” primarily, retail ventures, of the importance of inventory management, including conducting 100% hands on inventory to determine exactly what was on hand; knowing the location of inventory at all times and controlling the transfer of units in order to preserve inventory from becoming too high or too low.• Taught customers the importance of analyzing inventory usage to determine an automatic reorder point in order have the required supplies to run their businesses successfully. This was accomplished by teaching each individual business owner how to create data bases and charts using Microsoft Excel to keep track of inventory.• Implemented the key strategy process, “Supply Chain Management,” which is a pipeline or conduit for the efficient and effective flow of products/materials, services, information and financials from the supplier’s suppliers through the various intermediates to the customer’s customer. The supply chain philosophy ensures that customers receive the right products at the right time at an acceptable price and at the desired time and location. By creating and implementing the use of databases utilizing Microsoft Excel, the business owners were able to determine the most efficient and effective flow of merchandise for their respective businesses. • Advised customers of the importance to determine a material budget, monitor financial and budget indicators, develop adjustments and strategies, and conduct financial management.• Acquired the knowledge of the regulations required by state and local laws governing business operations, including tax regulations and requirements. Completed all necessary forms and paperwork to operate as a legal business formation.
