A little something about me: I grew up in a small town in Northern Pennsylvania where everyone knew everyone. My hometown was your typical blue collar small town America. There were 4 major employers and the economy was never booming. Growing up in a small town you had to be social and learn to listen to people. I would often hear about people being out of work. I think that environment set me on my path to wanting to help people find employment, which is why I enjoy my chosen profession. I have over 20 + years of hiring experience. My career continues to grow and I’m getting closer to my goal of building a world class Talent Acquisition organization. What separates me from other recruiters? My personal mantra! "Follow-up is key". I am successful because I follow-up with candidates and hiring managers in a timely manner. TEKsystems was the first company to drop off paychecks, meet consultants before an interview, meet them on their first day of work, take them to lunch and now every consultant firm is doing that it. One rule that TEKsystems lives by is the 1:24 alert. One hour to get back to you and 24 hours to solve it, I trying to work by this standard every day.
