As a lifelong sci-fi enthusiast born in the 70s, I've always been captivated by the worlds of Star Wars, Star Trek, and the visionary works of Alfred Bester, William Gibson, and Philip K. Dick. Witnessing the transformation of science fiction into science fact has been a thrilling journey, one that has deeply influenced my career in IT.With 30 years in the IT industry, including over 25 years in managed IT and consulting, I've cultivated a diverse skill set through roles such as service desk operator, project manager, new business sales, and currently, account management. I've had the privilege of working with recognizable brands across legal, IP, architecture, automotive, retail, and education sectors, helping them develop robust IT and security strategies.My passion lies in building trust-based relationships, fostering credibility through action, and sharing knowledge both as a learner and a teacher. I am dedicated to delivering value, inspiring trust, and driving action at board and C-levels by providing insights and engaging expert resources. My focus is on helping businesses bridge the gap between innovation and execution, leveraging frameworks like NIST to create repeatable, comprehensive approaches to risk management, data security, and compliance.Outside of work, my life revolves around my family—my wife, two teenage sons, and two dogs.
