You the patient are wheeled into the operating theater as you need that care. I am my own customer -- for I will need this very care someday. Using an Agile Kanban framework I am a lead engineer for a small group of engineers to make full stack applications that service:* Transactional Email Personalization* Federated Identity Provider Claims based logins* Multithreaded Queue processing using SQL table queues, file servers, and a message bus.* Web User Interfaces using ASP.NET MVC, Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap just to name a few.* Extract Transform and Load (ETL) from spreadsheets via ORM. As a lead engineer, I must debate and drive architectural direction with the other leads and also with the small team I work with. I listen to the overarching business goals and find ways to increase quality to match those goals. I have been a driving force to require unit testing to be more encompassing throughout product development. I have also had the opportunity to present training and research I did using the Machine Learning technique called Artificial Neural Networks. (Using GNU Octave and Powershell with learning based on the teaching of Andrew Ng's from Stanford Machine Learning course presented at courser.org) I have had the great pleasure to present to many engineers the S.O.L.I.D. Principles of Object Oriented Programming. Web Applications using ASP.NET C#, NHibernate's ICriteria interface along with a bit of Hibernate Query Language (HQL), NHibernate events, and also fair amount of SQL Programming. In programming various web applications I used a fair amount of JavaScript and also the ExtJs library.Interfacing with third party web service providers for single sign on and various types of near real time, multi-threaded, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL). Dealt much with COM so to be able to interface with another third party application so to load and extract information from its bounded context.Wrote a ton of Powershell Scripts going from driving Internet Explorer in experimental programs and testing efforts to keeping data consistent between systems, to loading data to systems, to making sure that web applications tell me if things are going wrong.

At StrongMail Systems, Inc. I developed, fixed, and designed software in the core developement StrongMail outbound email product. Through this experience I worked with TCP/IP POSIX communications and file locking and multiprocess syncronization. Also, I have experience with some PostgreSQL related issues with integration between an ETL Agent (Extract, Transform, Load) and the database. I wrote the code side that provides the ETL Agent with most of its data and the way to read that data. I also instructed a junior engineer on the implementation of the classes wrapping an ODBC interface.I did a vast majority of my work in the programming language C++. During the course of this work I used libraries such as the STL, the Boost Libraries, and POSIX. All work that I did ran under Linux. As such, as with almost all jobs I have held, I used GNU GCC and GNU GDB to an extreme degree. At StrongMail Systems I used the Boost.Test library to be the framework for unit testing.

At Union Switch & Signal, Inc. US&S I wrote, along with another engineer, a unit test environment for testing Design-By-Contract software specifications. In this postion I reviewed out-of-country use of this unit test environment as well as helped instruct other engineers of the proper use.After such duties were complete, I worked on multinationalization of the Central Office Control Software for transist systems called Hermes. During this time I used and wrote wrappers around the Internationalization Components for Unicode (ICU) and integrated their use with Xt and Motif GUI applications.The vast majority of my work was done in the C++ programming language.

At Jovio Inc. I converted an existing backpropgation Artifical Neural Network (ANN) from C to C++ in order to be able to take it from an experimental product to one that could handle more data. In addition I developed a traning algorithm to determine automatically when one solution was better than another instead of having to inspect by eyes. Along with this traning algorithm I wrote various statically routines in C++ to transform the solution according to the theorist's desires.

At Clarvoyance Corporation I worked in unit testing and system programming. In this position I also worked as a Linux adminstrator.
