Shooting Star is a $9 million operation set in the heart of the Tetons. It is an exclusive private Country Club boasting a 256 acre Tom Fazio golf course which, in the winter, becomes a Nordic track. The golf course houses two driving ranges as well as a golf shop equipped with a simulator and the latest technology for instruction. The clubhouse houses both a men’s and women’s lounge attached to their respective golf locker rooms, the Spa that includes 7 treatment rooms and a beauty salon, two food and beverage outlets plus events, concierge, housekeeping and laundry. Amenities include a 25 meter pool with outdoor seating, snack shop and the Alpine Barn that is used for events in the summer and Ski Valet in the winter. As General Manager I was charged with the operation and financial success of all Clubhouse, golf and ski operations from driving product enhancement, development of the team and critically driving member satisfaction.
Resort Manager
Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole is two resorts in one. A winter ski in and ski out experience and a summer mountain destination neighbouring two national parks; Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. 181 rooms comprising of 124 traditional hotel rooms, 12 Residence Club units (time share) and 45 Private Residences where guests can choose to be in the rental pool. Food and Beverage operation is comprised of four outlets each unique to themselves including The Handle Bar, a Michael Mina concept, as well as over 10,000 square feet of banqueting space. The resort also has 11,685 square foot Spa with 16 treatment rooms including two couples suites, gym, yoga studio and pool and was nominated as one of the top 100 spas in North America. The resort has it’s own full service ski in / ski out ski concierge in the winter with full rental set up from skis and boots as well as ski tuning, boot fitting and retail. In summer Base Camp is an activity centre that drives our unique fly fishing and wildlife tours. As Resort Manager I oversaw all aspects of the operation of F&B, Rooms Division, Spa, Security, Engineering. I was responsible for quality assurance, product enhancement, financial success and most importantly guest satisfaction.
