Directed the integration of a new material management system between maintenance work order system and purchasing system to forecast, reserved, and order parts to reduce production delays. Implemented a 24x7 parts desk dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to over 4,000 craft people across all repair facilities. Led the purchase of a $10M locomotive repair and overhaul facility to support Union Pacific’s energy business. Position had four direct reports and 12 indirect reports.
